Dr. Eva Bosbach is Executive Director of the University of Cologne New York Office. The Office cultivates relationships with North American partner universities and serves as first point of contact for faculty, students, and other partners in the United States and Canada. It reaches out to UoC Alumni, and offers researchers from the University of Cologne platforms to network, present their scientific results, and initiate new collaborations in North America.

Eva worked previously as Program Manager at the German Rectors’ Conference in Bonn, Germany, and is author of several comparative studies about doctoral education and the humanities in Germany and the U.S. Born in Prague, Czech Republic, Eva received her Masters and Ph.D. from the University of Cologne. Eva currently serves on the Board of the German Center for Research and Innovation (DWIH) and was awarded City Council and New York State Assembly Citations in 2017. Eva is trilingual Czech, German, English, and lives with her husband and two children in New York City.
