Christophe Allard holds a Master in Cross Cultural Management from ICHEC-Brussels. He started his aviation career as Head of the African Projects at Brussels Airlines in 2005. As such he was involved in many key developments in Central and Eastern Africa. In 2009, he founded Korongo Airlines in the Democratic Republic of Congo, a joint-venture between Brussels Airlines and Groupe Forrest International. In 2010, he was appointed as Chief Executive establishing the 1st EU compliant airline in the blacklisted DRC. In January 2016, he returned to Brussels Airlines as Director Sales & Marketing North America. Today, 50% of Brussels Airlines traffic originating in North America has a final destination in Africa.
